Ability to advise clients:
in a way which will assist them. Before we can advise we must listen and understand what the client is saying and what they are asking for, many times the client is saying one thng whilst we are thinking another.

Have a good personality
Calm an attentive listener to understand what the clients needs are and to give the best possible advice and treatment.  Caring, approachable, friendly. And a good listener

Be smartly turned out with excellent personal hygiene
You must look the image you want to portray

Work well in a team.
As you will in most cases be working with a team of other therapists you will need to be able to work with other people well 

Respectful of the need for confidentiality and been tactful
A Therapist will take information about their clients therefore it is important that therapists understand the need for confidentiality and the Data Protrection Act.

Health and Safety Issues
As part of the syllabus in beauty therapy it is essential that all therapist has a great understanding of the requirement of health and safety issues in a salon

Booking in appointments, time management and manage schedules
is a very important skill in the beauty industry, one of the qualities an employer looks for in a therapist.

Greeting Clients discussing their needs, anaylsing their skin and giving professional
